Multnomah Art Center Craft Show

The last show before Christmas was yesterday. I was hoping to see a lot of last minute shoppers but the turnout was kind of small. Oh well, we had a good day anyway. Lot’s of neat stuff from other vendors, good coffee, some terrible Christmas music on the radio and a cool breeze every time the door opened. It was a beautiful day in Portland and I’m sure people were enjoying it wherever they were! I sold a lot of catnip toys to fill kitty stockings all over, that makes it worth it.

Yesterday at the show…

My Plush Creations

The Hip Happening show was yesterday. As always, a well put together show run by great people. It was a cold day in Portland but that didn’t keep away the shoppers! We had wall to wall vendors and crowded aisles to match. For those of you who made it out, thanks! If you didn’t make it, you missed out on an hourly prize drawing, a visit with Santa Claus, and caricatures drawn by The Grinch! We also had a wonderful hot dog vendor and yummy Blackberry Brown Ale from a local beer maker. I didn’t sell as many plush toys as usual but I made up for it with Christmas ornaments and small gift items. The cat toys are still a big hit too. If you saw something you liked but didn’t pick it up then check out my Etsy shop to see if it’s still available. I spent the day with my favorite vending friends, my twin sister Jen, and our friend Julie.
